Tom Klima was a good friend during high school and after we graduated. We would usually meet up and just talk about stuff and other people we knew from H.S.. He was a great guy and was taken from us all in a very short time by something I was never able to find out about. Let us just remember the good times we have all had together while on this earth!!!

Jim,

Tom was my best friend. He was my best man and I was his best man.

Pancreatic cancer took him from us. I was there when he passed and kissed him on his forehead.

I miss him very much.

I was grateful to be reminded of Tom this morning. I'd planned to write something when I first heard of his death almost two years ago but then... well, things happened.

Anyhow, I remember Tom so well, even though we weren't in contact much once we were shuffled off to TC Williams. But from when I first moved to Virginia in '65 and especially throughout Middle School at John Adams and into my Hammond years, he was truly one of my best friends. Lanky and easy going with a sly sense of humor. So easy and comforting to be around. Those days were a confusing, anxious, jumble for me, and Tom's presence was like an oasis. I wish I'd stayed in touch with him and the pang I felt, hearing of his passing, only proved the incredible value he had in my life.

Nice to see that the beautiful qualities he had in his youth never left him.

Bless you, Thomas Klima!
