Brad and I go way back to Ron Jones 7th grade PE classes at Minnie Howard.  I last saw and talked to Brad in the late 90s then lost track.  RIP Big Man!

Brad Smith was at TC when I arrived as principal in 1970.  He was always a gentlemen wheather it was in the classroom, in hallways, or on the althletic fields.  He had the personality that made him liked by all.  I am sorry to hear of his death.  My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this time of sorrow.  Arnold Oates

I've run into Brad several times over the past fews years, most recently this past spring/summer.  He was always the "gentleman", wearing a huge smile and looking as fit as he did in 1973.  May his soul rest in peace.  My prayers and thoughts are with his family.

I first met Brad at George Mason in 4th grade. What a wonderful, sweet person. He was totally my first crush! The world lost a gem. Rest peacefully, my friend.

Brad immediately became a friend of whomever he met - black or white, athlete or non-athlete. He truly was a loving, humanitarian. And what a great smile he had. - Bill Sullivan '73

Brad was the best friend a guy could have in life. He was excellent in every sport he played.

He was one of my favorite school pals at George Mason Elementary school. If you never met Brad

then you missed a great guy. And he was one of the funniest people I knew throughout school!!!!!!!
